About Me

I am a coach who helps women and men all around the world who are unsure about whether to have kids or not. I support people in reaching a clear and confident decision by providing information and advice, and utilizing effective strategies that evoke deep insights and clarity so that people can discover which future path is best for them - parenthood or staying childfree.
I'm in my 40's, and originally from the UK but now I live in sunny Australia. I became a coach in this specific area as I I was driven by my own personal experience with this difficult decision, and because of my experience as a counselor.
There are many aspects to consider when questioning whether to have children or not and I know all too well how hard and confusing the decision-making process can be as I've been there myself. I was on the fence about whether to become a parent and was finding it difficult to answer: Do I really want children? Why do I want a child? What are valid reasons not to have kids? I also had to analyze what I wanted for my life and for myself, and whether having a child would be the best choice for me (and the child!).
During my own decision-making journey I discovered a way I could make the process simpler and easier for myself, and which counseling tools would be the most effective at leading me to the best choice for me - having children or not.
And so began my passion and commitment to helping women and men out there who are struggling with this complex and emotional decision.
I understand that your indecision and not knowing what to do can be very confusing, scary, isolating and stressful. You might feel guilty or embarrassed to tell others that you are questioning whether to have kids because society often labels this ambivalence as unnatural (but I assure you it's not! In fact it is a smart and healthy thing to do!). And those that you do tell may be pressuring you to do what they want you to do, but that might not be what is truly the best path for you.
I think many people (especially women) are driven to believe that having children is their main purpose in life and the only way to find true fulfillment, meaning and happiness. But I don't believe that's true at all. In this modern age, we have purpose and value far beyond being child-rearers. And that is not to say I diminish the importance of parenting - quite the opposite - if you choose to have a child.
And that is my main point, that we have a choice, and we should feel empowered to be able to chose otherwise, such as a childfree life if we feel that is the best path for us, not made to feel less of a woman, or human being, because of that choice.
So my wish for you is that you discover which future path is best for you and come to a decision you feel confident in.
I currently offer three types of assistance - quizzes, articles, and my popular Kids or Not - The Ultimate Guide to Making the Right Decision For You. These options offer different choices of resources so you can select what best suits you. I sincerely hope I can provide you with at least some of the information and support you are seeking to help you find clarity in your decision of whether to have children or stay childfree.
I wish you all the best on your decision-making journey,
